Noticed that as well. It’s probably the size difference playing tricks on our eyes. I don’t care either way, bezels or no, I like it……

It’s because the bezels make space for the same components, so most probably they have the exact same dimensions in both models. So obviously the model with the larger display has a better bezel screen ratio as the screen is larger and the bezels are the same. It’s very basic mathematics.

I like it more and more too. Especially the XL. I do wonder what the pricing will be though. But this might just replace my S7E.

I don’t think the bezels on either phone is going to be as bad as the bezels on the 5X and 6P.

The bezels are no where near as huge as the 6P is and this one looks high quality, unlike the previous.

yeah.. i remembered during the leak days of htc 10..all the leak pictures shows a very big top and down bezel… but when the actual unit is out… its damn gorgeous!x

i will buy a phone with on screen buttons when someone make one with the same size bezels on all sides and under 10mm thick doesn’t have to be like a razor blade.

Capacitive buttons take the space of the lower bezel, so your finger has to stretch uncomfortably low and loose the grip of the phone. A bit bezel at the bottom and a slightly elevated navigation bar is far more ergonomic. And the 10mm of added bezel don’t harm anybody’s pocket. This worshipping of the minimising of bezels is a bit superficial as thinking.

Loving the look of the XL and suppose the stretched screen means slightly less bezels top and bottom. Definitely ordering mine as soon as it’s released. Will keep my Nexus 6P until then….nice….!

$650 US likely means $900 CAD. No thanks. The last time I did it was for the S7 edge. Is it a good phone? Absolutely. Is it worth a $400 premium over a phone like the OnePlus 3 or Axon 7? Absolutely not.

I’m not impressed there are millions of other phones out just like this. Save money and buy a Nexus 6p.

Don’t allow marketing to spend unnecessary money.
