Too much bananas will kill you in this crazy ride with the gorilla. Run fast or you will have a taste of banana avalanche in this mobile game called Banana Kong. Control your gorilla named Banana Kong and guide him to avoid getting crushed by the banana peels. Jump and glide in the air to avoid the boulders, crocodiles and piranhas. Collect as many bananas as you can along the way and fill up your power dash gauge. Use the Power Dash when the banana avalanche is near or you can use it to destroy the blocks and other barricades in your gorilla’s path.

Overview

Banana Kong is an action packed fun filled adventure where you need to control our hero and collect bananas across different locations, although it looks like a Donkey Kong, it certainly is not, Banana Kong is an endless runner where you need to traverse the level, hop on to platforms, swing across the forest using those vines and swim under the sea…all for the glory of bananas! , sounds pretty easy?, guess again, you need to maintain your speed throughout the levels because if you slow down, the banana avalanche will catch up and bury our hero in a giant heap of bananas…but no worries mate as there are also some cool moves and abilities to help you out in your runs, like the dash charge move to destroy objects , the glide to float across short distances and even ride cute animals to help you get over those obstacles, indeed, the gorilla is quite powerful and agile…be careful though, hitting those obstacles just once will end your run and it’s game over for you, but that’s okay though as the levels are randomly generated, and you won’t be having the same run twice…guaranteed , so come on and play the game, cover as much distance as possible and show your friends your scores and achievements at the leaderboards and find out who’s the best Banana Kong of all.

Graphics and Sound

Banana Kong has beautiful graphics, the character model is quite cute and cuddly and so are the other animals that are featured in the game, the environments are great too, they look pretty and quite diverse in designs depending on the location, backdrops are pretty too and certainly adds beauty to the game, colors are soft and vivid , they are cool to look at, the game is simply bursting with beautiful colors from start to finish, animations are also great, everything is smoothly animated making the experience really fun, music and sounds are cool too, the soundtrack is upbeat and nice while the sound effects are varied and quite distinct depending on the object you touch, special effects are average though , but the game doesn’t really need flashy effects as the game is already cool and fun as it is, overall, the game looked pretty enough to me.

Gameplay

Banana Kong is your typical endless runner where you need to collect as many bananas as possible by travelling the farthest distance before dying, and just like any other endless runner out there, it will start out slow but will gradually increase in pace as you progress, there are a lot of bananas that you can collect here, collect as many as you can and use them at the shop to buy powerups and special items that you can use during your runs, controlling the gorilla is simple and easy as he automatically runs, all you need to do is to tap the screen to make him jump, tap and hold while he’s in the air to make him float or glide a short distance and swipe to the right to make the gorilla execute a shoulder dash charge to destroy obstacles in front of him.
