Xiaomi has teased the launch of the Mi Note 2 on October 25 in Beijing. The Chinese manufacturer tweeted a promo image yesterday with the title ‘Curved to impress’, which confirmed the launch event’s start time and referenced the Mi Note 2’s ‘two-sided dual curves’.
Previous rumors suggested that the Mi Note 2 would have a flat, edge-to-edge display (and would look more similar to the original Mi Note, pictured above) but news of the dual-curve design means it could make for a suitable alternative to the Samsung Galaxy Note 7.

It’s also said that the 4GB RAM version would cost the US equivalent of $415 and the 6GB variant, $445.
The Mi Note 2 launch event will be live-streamed from Beijing starting at 23:00 (PDT) next Tuesday and is expected to last for three hours. You’ll find a stream link on Xiaomi’s Facebook page next week.
