Way to go Xiaomi!!!
That screen looks amazing! I loved the «edge» features, hopefully we get to see something like that on the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, which could be revealed on late November. 😀

Sure can bet Apple/Samsung WON’T have any of this soon.
As with most manufacturers, they want to milk the cow instead of INNOVATING.
Why spend the R&D to come up with something innovative, when all they have
to do to get people to willingly continue to buy new phones ever 12-18 months
is stick a faster processor in it along with a fancy looking case. The next maker
that comes out the door with something like this, and WORKS, will have them
beating down the doors.
A lot of manufacturers get stuck in the Xerox or IBM thinking. I remember in the
60’s through very early 80’s, if you wanted a photocopier, you bought a Xerox.
To the point, Xerox became a verb. «here, co xerox these».
Then, Canon, Toshiba, Sharp and others made huge strides, and now Xerox
is more of an afterthought. Same thing with IBM… Apple/Samsung/HTC/LG etc
have not innovated. Apple, really hasn’t innovated in 10 years. The iPhone,
is pretty much the same. Better screen, faster processor…that’s pretty much it.
