If mine acts up, gets cripples with an update, or Samsung issues a statement that they’ll no longer Support it, I’ll turn it in. If non of that happens, I’m staying put.

3. piyath (Posts: 404; Member since: 23 Mar 2012)

Denial and fanboism at it’s best! Oh wait, it’s rather stupidity or what???!!!!! LOL!!!!

4. acruzlu (Posts: 173; Member since: 12 Aug 2015)

So waiting until Samsung issues a statement is denial or fanboyism?? I’m also in the same camp. It’s call waiting until Samsung issues a statement.

9. piyath (Posts: 404; Member since: 23 Mar 2012)

No. It’s just called self centered, ignorant fanboyism..! There are five cases already within 3 days and bitches still aren’t convinced???!!!!! 2 major carriers have already taken proper measures too. Samsung won’t give any statement until they figure out a proper lie to cover all this mess up. That’s the nature of a greedy company like Samsung. So good luck with the statement.

Wow, someone’s happy because his hated company’s phone is exploding and can harm other people, you have serious mental issues bruh.

21. Unordinary (Posts: 1785; Member since: 04 Nov 2015)

LMAO the butthurt is so real lol. Just heated up a baked potatoe in my Samsung microwave. Love it 🙂 I toooootalllly hate Samsung.

23. NoToFanboys (Posts: 1634; Member since: 03 Oct 2015)

Wow! I was butthurt? I didn’t know that! Are you a mutant or something?

12. acruzlu (Posts: 173; Member since: 12 Aug 2015)

Do you work with Samsung? Are you the one we need to wait for an official statement? Don’t think so. I don’t question the Verge’s credentials but they are not Samsung so yeah waiting until then.

I didn’t have any problems with my original note 7 and I haven’t had any reason to be suspicious about my replacement note 7. I did the same things that I did with the original… Charge it with a aukey charger and cable while keeping an eye on it just in case… No smoke, or excessive overheating or anything out of the ordinary… With that being said if this whole note 7 thing gets the official shutdown I guess the V20 will be my only option as no other phone out there can come close to what the note can do… I don’t want to be stuck with a phone that I can’t resale or have any type of backing from the oem or carrier if something other than the obvious goes wrong with the phone and I need to make an insurance claim… I couldn’t see them helping out with a official recalled phone down the road…

6. NoToFanboys (Posts: 1634; Member since: 03 Oct 2015)

Not sure if you didn’t read his comment properly, or you’re just plain stupid.

8. acruzlu (Posts: 173; Member since: 12 Aug 2015)

Oh I read it. He’s just trolling for green thumbs. Or covering for his own stupidity by jumping on the paranoia train.

13. NoToFanboys (Posts: 1634; Member since: 03 Oct 2015)

That reply was for piyath, not for you.

16. acruzlu (Posts: 173; Member since: 12 Aug 2015)

Lol. Can’t be too sure on this site man.

30. lucasho2312 (Posts: 25; Member since: 10 Feb 2013)

Cant believe fanboyism can make a person become so dumb.

26. TechieXP1969 (Posts: 10250; Member since: 25 Sep 2013)

He likes his device and wants to keep it, I less it shows an issue.

When other phones you may own have an issue, do you take them back if not asked too?

Not hardly!

I’m keeping mine too. I really like the phone. It is the best Note to this day.

I’m keeping mine too. Samsung I think should pay for my phone is I keep it because, they aren’t going to be a me to sell anymore for a while.

Whatever this cost Samsung, SDI will have to pay.
But then again maybe not. Because this issue is from something else.

I don’t understand how this is hit or .is. how is it, it’s o my just a couple.

No one is asking, if all the Notes have the same defect, then why aren’t they also exploding?

What is the combination that is causing the issue?

34. darkkjedii (Posts: 21561; Member since: 05 Feb 2011)

He just doesn’t get it. Mine stays put. No other phone I want.

39. acruzlu (Posts: 173; Member since: 12 Aug 2015)

Agreed. Wonder where truthwins is hiding?Surprised they haven’t been chasing you today Dark. Lol.

50. darkkjedii (Posts: 21561; Member since: 05 Feb 2011)

His mom told him it’s nite nite time

54. ctdog4748 (Posts: 344; Member since: 05 Mar 2016)

And if something happened and you or one of your family members is injured, I’ve no doubt you’d sue, or happily participate in a class action lawsuit against Samsung. Samsung or your carrier should make knuckleheads like you sign a waiver that would relieve you of that option.

46. Artee8988 (Posts: 18; Member since: 1 hour ago)

Its not the best note when multiple versions of the device are exploding at this point. You should be returning the device immediately at this point. Thankfully the carriers are at least stopping sales of it at this point.

62. Artee8988 (Posts: 18; Member since: 1 hour ago)

If my phone had a potential safety issue I would return it even if it hadn’t been recalled, why take the risk? Are you on Samsungs payroll?

32. darkkjedii (Posts: 21561; Member since: 05 Feb 2011)

Read the last 3 words of post 1. I thought I was clear.

14. nctx77 (Posts: 2008; Member since: 03 Sep 2013)

Dude, you’re just trying to save face at this point!

51. darkkjedii (Posts: 21561; Member since: 05 Feb 2011)

I don’t give 2 fks about saving face lol. Re read those last 3 words. We can do this all you want. Normally I’d just ignore you, but I actually wanna keep owning you.

As I told you before, I don’t fanboy, I keep it 100. Next post please…

20. Settings (Posts: 1628; Member since: 02 Jul 2014)

Fanboys are the last people on earth who’ll buy an exploding phone. Their so-called king will not admit it either even their casualties grow one each day. Samsung dont know how to take defeat on the Note 7. They just wont stop. The only way to take a hold on this is simply stop selling it. They already lost billions of dollars and they want to lose more.

33. TechieXP1969 (Posts: 10250; Member since: 25 Sep 2013)

It’s not about taking defeat. Do you own a business, do you make products?

No!

The issue is simple, a company who spent moons to make a product exist, doesn’t want tpntale it off the market if they can avoid it.

However most companies always pit business before customers.

They all do it, but like you an everyone you only see Samsung.

What about Apple, Toyota, Chrysler and others?

Did Apple recall the iPhone 4? IPhone 6 Plus?
Apple only recalled faulty power cord. But deal. They recalled something that cost $3 to make.

Samsung simply doesn’t want to rush to judgement without knowing the facts. They want to ask the user the circumstances of the issue. They wa t to see the phone. They want to see if the user did something tonite as the very first safe model was found to have been near an external heat source.

People are scammers. Should Samsung lose millions if a person is a liar? If you had money like that and someone possibly lied to getbit from you, would you be so quick to give it?

You like all the other idiots lack even the most common of common sense, because you are so quick to make a decision when it’s not your money that potentially could be lost.

Since its not your money, then let the one who the money belongs too, do what is best.

Samsung already took the offensive by stopping the carriers from making the sales before the official recall.the Govt is slow. They went to carriers and said stop selling them. They met with all 4 major US carriers.

Yes they have lost money. Am sure they don’t want to lose anymore.

Everyone wants the sales to stop. So now they have.. yet you’re still not happy.

I got mine and unless Samsung and the US Govt says I need to return it, I will keep it

37. acruzlu (Posts: 173; Member since: 12 Aug 2015)

Well said man. Until Samsung and the US Govt says so. It stays put.

57. Artee8988 (Posts: 18; Member since: 1 hour ago)

You are just showing your inherent bias by refusing to return your note 7 devices at this point. Samsung is done at this point.

41. TechieXP1969 (Posts: 10250; Member since: 25 Sep 2013)

What exactly am I ignorant of. You like using buzz words, so tell.

I know the facts. The facts is.both times millions of phones went out. A very small amount displayed an issue.

It’s not mine call tpntell Samsung what to do. They should do what is best for the .

If that means no longer selling the phone then fine. But if I can keep mine I will. If I can’t, i have my Note 5. I will use it until the next one comes.

It’s my choice, I can do whatever the hell I want. It’s my life. If you wanna think I’m ignorant, then you are entitled to your opinion.

But I’m curious, have you ever done anything ignorant? Of course you have!

So you hypocritical bastard you don’t get to pick what is ignorant when you are guilty of the same.

I spent the cash out of my income, not yours. Since I spent MY money, you don’t get to choose what I do with it.

But the fact is dude, you are the one whole ignorant because you have zero respect for their decision.

Though I don’t like a lot of phones sold, I still.respect those who buy them because it’s their choice. What I get pissed at is fa boys who argue and lie and make exaggerated claims because of their choice, trying to say it’s better than mine..

No matter what you say about Samsung, the Note 7 or me, Samsung foe the 50 models they make, make the best products, they are sourced by other outfits foe stuff and none have caused an issue…ever!

They made their first issue, and OMG you hypocrites just come out of nowhere and ignore the same issue from everyone else. I could care less how many it was
They all should get the same attention because the result is the same.

The result is we assume a risk using these products. The risk is equal even if one oem is presently having a bigger problem or not.

I’ve never seen you post anything in the articles about other devices catching fire and hurting or even killing people.

But you and your crony friends in every Samsung article. You’re the one that’s ignorant. Because you are consistent.

58. Artee8988 (Posts: 18; Member since: 1 hour ago)

You are being ignorant by refusing to return your note 7!

2. XperiaG (Posts: 111; Member since: 06 Jun 2016)

This is Disaster for Samsung..

7. NoToFanboys (Posts: 1634; Member since: 03 Oct 2015)

True, I didn’t expect they’d make the same mistake twice.
Really big problem for their image.
Sadly trolls are rejoicing for the downfall of others.

11. piyath (Posts: 404; Member since: 23 Mar 2012)

Actually fanboys will only moan for Samsung, just like you, while every other rational person will sympathize those poor victims who paid $1000 to get burnt. Irony…

17. NoToFanboys (Posts: 1634; Member since: 03 Oct 2015)

Wow, your stupidity knows no end.
I just mentioned a fact about their image now you label me as a Samsung fanboy? Thank you for confirming your intelligence level, or lack thereof.

24. XperiaG (Posts: 111; Member since: 06 Jun 2016)

Yeah you are right.. It is sad to see a Big company like this going down this way… I’ll say the same if this was Apple, Sony, Microsoft etc… It is not that I do not care about the victims I do care and it is Sad to purchase such an expensive phone just to have it reduce to ashes.

25. NoToFanboys (Posts: 1634; Member since: 03 Oct 2015)

Same here, regardless of what brand it is still sad.
I don’t get how the trolls rejoice in this disaster.

31. lucasho2312 (Posts: 25; Member since: 10 Feb 2013)

Return the Note 7 now, u dumb f**k.

65. NoToFanboys (Posts: 1634; Member since: 03 Oct 2015)

I don’t have a Note 7, I own an Xperia and an iPad
Go back to your cave, bloody idiot.

44. Artee8988 (Posts: 18; Member since: 1 hour ago)

Yeah I think samsung is done, they are clearly trying to cover up that the replacement note 7 devices have an issue just like the original version did

5. acruzlu (Posts: 173; Member since: 12 Aug 2015)

I’m there as well man. Waiting until Samsung says something official before jumping to any conclusions about the alleged reports.

60. Artee8988 (Posts: 18; Member since: 1 hour ago)

I guess you can lead a horse to water but can’t make them drink. Why wait to return the phone when even the carriers are stopping sale of it and it is obviously still a safety concern at this point?

61. acruzlu (Posts: 173; Member since: 12 Aug 2015)

I got a few words that mighty be hard for you to understand. Waiting until Samsung says something official. There’s no other phone I want right now.

63. Artee8988 (Posts: 18; Member since: 1 hour ago)

So you’d risk your life just because you don’t think there’s a better phone available? Would using your prior phone be more risky?

64. Artee8988 (Posts: 18; Member since: 1 hour ago)

It’s clear Samsung is also trying to cover up issues with the replacement phones so not sure why anyone would trust anything they say at this point either…

18. PHYCLOPSH (Posts: 299; Member since: 28 Jun 2014)

As George W. Bush once said:
https://www.c-span.org/video/?c4445081/clip-hurricane-gustav-relief-efforts

«All across our country there’s a lot of prayer – prayer for those whose lives have been turned upside down. And uh — I’m one of them.»

That pretty much sums up Samsung’s insensitivity right now.

19. piyath (Posts: 404; Member since: 23 Mar 2012)

All the people here act as complete gentleman adults in a situation like this. But if this happens to Apple they abruptly will become children and bash Apple top to bottom, day and night. I’m no fanboy here. I love Samsung more than Apple. But truth must be spoken. Irrational stupidity is the worst human nature in my book. Credit is where it’s due, and blame is where it’s due. At the end of the day we pay for every little gadget we use. No company will give us free phones if we defend their shady work. Samsung could’ve been more careful and patient about developing this product and it’s clearly their fault. Apple touch IC issue is the same. That’s where Apple get the blame these days and they absolutely deserve that.

22. Settings (Posts: 1628; Member since: 02 Jul 2014)

Not unless they’re employees…

27. LebronJamesFanboy (Posts: 314; Member since: 23 Mar 2013)

Anyone who still owns a Note 7 is an idiot.

35. acruzlu (Posts: 173; Member since: 12 Aug 2015)

Anyone named LebronJamesFanboy is an idiot, but you don’t see people pointing it out. People waiting on an official statement does not make them an idiot or a dumb f**ker.

49. acruzlu (Posts: 173; Member since: 12 Aug 2015)

^Where. Oh you’re talking about yourself?

42. Artee8988 (Posts: 18; Member since: 1 hour ago)

Agreed, no one should be using a note 7 at this point.

28. lucasho2312 (Posts: 25; Member since: 10 Feb 2013)

Any who owns a Note 7 is a dumb f**ker.

36. mail2me98 (Posts: 8; Member since: 24 Feb 2013)

the curse of skipping the «6» 😛

38. fyahking (Posts: 879; Member since: 28 Jan 2015)

That’s weird, I just ordered 2 more note 7’s for my 2 other lines like 5min ago through t-mobile.

43. kiko007 (Posts: 2632; Member since: 17 Feb 2016)

Considering there press release two or so hours ago…..no you didn’t.

40. Artee8988 (Posts: 18; Member since: 1 hour ago)

At this rate, probably won’t be long before Sprint and Verizon stop selling it as well…
