While Google’s new Pixel smartphones are priced higher than the company’s older Nexus handsets, financing remains an option. The Pixel, Pixel XL, and related devices such as the Pixel C tablet and the Chromecast can be bought from Google’s online store on an installment plan – an option for every purchase of more than $150. The deal is a standard zero-interest monthly payment plan, which gets broken down as follows.
If you place a purchase between $149 and $299, you’ll have six months to pay, while purchases higher than $299 will get you 12 months time – unless you buy a Pixel or Pixel XL, in which case you’ll have 24 months. Of course, these price thresholds can be reached if you buy multiple units of the same items – loading up on Chromecasts and Daydream viewer headsets, for example.
So, there you have it – if paying $650 upfront doesn’t suit you, you can take advantage of Google’s financing.
