As you can see to your right, all of the specs of the device marked «unknown» align with the HTC 10, which rolled out back in early April. As with most top-notch handsets of the past few months, the device includes Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 SoC with Adreno 530 graphics alongside a healthy 4 gigs of RAM. There’s also expandable storage, and currently, users get Android 6.0 Marshmallow with HTC’s Sense 8.0 on top.

HTC has indicated that the 10 will be first on its list to get the update, but has only given a ballpark «Q4» time frame. We’re now a week into the three-month projected release bracket, and this new sighting of an HTC running Nougat offers hope that a roll-out could be just around the corner. With that said, unforeseen delays are not exactly uncommon in the world of Android updates, so we’re not getting our hopes up too much as yet. Additionally, if you’re rocking a carrier-branded model, your chances of seeing any of Nougat before the year’s end are slim-to-none.
