Remember the «Gorilla Glass 5 scratches easily» saga that emerged during a torture-testing video with the Note 7? Well, the test has been redone now, and it seems that small rock fragments from the tool that was used to sharpen the Mohs scale testing tools got stuck in the pointer, and scratched the Note 7 display starting pretty early in the Mohs testing game.

This erroneously led to the conclusion that, while the new Gorilla Glass 5 might be drop-durable, it is prone to scuffs and scratches more than its previous editions. Needless to say, a correction video was posted, redoing the test with undamaged tools, and Note 7 showed as prone to scratching as everything else with Gorilla Glass on top, meaning not that much. There you have it.
