Google wants to take shots at the best.

4. tedkord (Posts: 11770; Member since: 17 Jun 2009)

I didn’t see them say anything about Samsung.

Btw Google offered this last year. The only difference is that this time around now videos are not limited to 1080p. Pictures could already support any size.

That’s because Samsung is far from the best.

You have a personal bias against them, so your opinion really doesn’t matter.

You have a personal bias against me, so your opinion about my opinion doesn’t matter. Plus you «forgot» to mention tedkord’s personal bias towards samsung. Yeah, man you are very credible. /s

Personal bias? I’m pretty sure most users on here associate you with being the one guy saying something negative about Samsung at any possible moment, so it’s far beyond just a personal bias.

Oh, how cute….says the person who gets their undies in a bunch whenever someone says something negative about Apple.

Don’t forget, Mxy….last month or whatever, you asked people not to say bad things about Apple, when you do the exact same thing on Samsung and BlackBerry articles.

You’re just as salty as anyone on here.

Well I mean, I’m pretty sure Apple has enough money in the bank to allow unlimited photo storage, but that’d never happen under Tim Cook, so…

I don’t want your storage, oh google…

I want a ‘personal cloud’ with 10MB/s download AND upload speed…

Segate is offering a home 2TB Home Cloud for just around $200… Two drives and each drive mirrors the other…

Access from EVERYWHERE via the Internet…

Keep your cloud to yourself, Google…

For I long for a…

GREEN CLOUD…

Aye!

G’Day!

19. GreenMan (Posts: 1300; Member since: 09 Nov 2015)

With a good router and a fast WiFi in your phone, one can get up to 40MB/s speeds for both upload and load…

In short…

1GB in 25sec…

Interested?

$200 2TB home cloud…

Whereas Google charge around $140 for just 1TB of storage an year…

And the upload speed…

Well, Lets forget about that…

P.S My father taught me self reliance… So even in a bloody zombie apocalypse, I’ll still have those ‘cat’ videos to entertain myself…

Think about it…

And while you’re at it…

G’Day!

Funny that every smartphone manufacturer always take shot at the iPhone but not the others, hmmmm

17. JunitoNH (Posts: 1810; Member since: 15 Feb 2012)

The others don’t matter. The objective is to bring down the leader of the pack.

3. Saioofi (Posts: 244; Member since: 23 May 2014)

Yet they copied the iPhone design

Because running out of storage is an iPhone smartphone exclusive only

The Pixel took the first place from the X performance (and the 10 and S7 edge):https://www.dxomark.com/Mobile s/Pixel-smartphone-camera-review-At-the-top

Looks like an amazing camera.

HTC….amazing camera? I never thought I’d live to see the day.

IIRC, they’re using a Sony sensor that is the follow-up to the one in the 6p.

Well, that’s fair to point that the competition isn’t offering what google is. I hope Apple reacts to this make iCloud free and unlimited for all iPhone owners. I am not holding my breath.

LMFAO, I love when Samsung, and now Google, need to mention Apple AKA the gold standard. Watch Apples last event and count how many times they mentioned Samsung or Google. Apple FTW!

13. VZWuser76 (Posts: 4262; Member since: 04 Mar 2010)

Watch any previous Apple event, they made plenty of snide comments in reference to Android. The fact they didn’t one time doesn’t undo the previous ones.

14. Xperia14 (Posts: 445; Member since: 01 Sep 2015)

Well it is the best-selling phone, so it actually is the gold standard for smartphones.

Criticizing the best will never make you the best.

25. jeroome86 (Posts: 1149; Member since: 12 Apr 2012)

Verizon only huh? This is DOA. Must not really want to compete. Oh well. Next.

Knock Apple all they want, Apple is not foolish enough to offer carrier exclusives.
