This phone better be amazing. So far nothing crazy has happened this year. Google better impress everyone.

I was not expecting an amoled screen. I’m looking forward to Google’s announcement more and more!

That’s what I’d like to know. And why two different rows of buttons (capacitive and on-screen)? They should’ve just stuck with the on-screen buttons. Now they’re doing what they were giving Samsung crap for doing.

«A 256GB capacity microSD slot (?) is available for those seeking additional storage»… It would be amazing if this were true and not just a typo… Fingers crossed!
I’m also impressed by the battery capacity of the smaller Pixel, for a 1080P display, I might just go with the smaller unit.

Agreed. This would be the first Nexus like offering to have expandable storage since the Nexus One. And I just so happen to have a couple of 200GB cards lying around, so it would be sweet if this were true. However, I think I’m still going to hold on to my 6p for the time being. Maybe I’ll pick one up on a sale or used down the road, unless there’s something major we don’t know about them yet.

They was a great news for me, finally!
Unlike some phones doesn’t support SD card yet.
Definitely buy it as my next driver!

I’ll go with smaller one as no compromise on performance and camera this time. 1080p is more than enough. Kudos big G

This phone better be well executed or Google is going to wind up doing itself a major disservice. With that being said, I could see myself liking this…but I can see myself liking the current and next OnePlus phones even more.

I always imagined I would buy the first «solely Google phone», but W.T.F google? I guess we’ll see how you do next year….
