All the requested features in one app sounds great. But who the hell uses carrier SMS these days?

SMS support means carrier messaging integration and replacement. MOST people still use SMS. Therefore, any app that doesn’t support SMS is doomed to fail

I really can’t remember when I sent an SMS last time. I use Whatsapp alot.. I like Allo but I seriously doubt that the Google will convince me to completely switch to Allo from Whatsapp…

You don’t live in the US, do you? SMS is still huge here. That’s why iMessage is so big.

80% SMS (inc iMessage), 18% Facebook messenger, 1% Whatsapp and 1% other in Australia.

It’s interesting that US and Australia are using so much SMS and barely any Whatsapp compared to other countries. I’ve tried to get people to use Whatsapp but none of my friends are keen on it

I’d love to have full google voice integration…make phone calls etc.

file sharing a must – duo integration with voice only – assistant in other languages (english is not native for a, let’s say, majority of this planet) – and desktop integration. themes is just cosmetics, not features that change how it works.

Told ya, it’s just getting started. All improvements coming via a simple app update instead of requiring a whole new OS. In no time, all those feature demands will be met and exceeded…

All those features should’ve been there from day one.
